Ride of Silence – Decatur + Annual Bike Law Party

Wed., May 20 6:30-9 pmJoin us on Wednesday May 20, 2026 for the worldwide Ride of Silence and the Annual Bike Law Lawn Party!! Ride of Silence: We will honor our fellow cyclists who have been injured or killed while cycling in GA. This year is extra special since it’s our first Ride of Silence without Ken Rosskopf. Co-hosted by BikeFriendly ATL and Bike Law GA.
6:30 pm – Meet at Hagen Rosskopf/Bike Law GA (119 N McDonough St, Decatur GA 30030
7:00 pm – Before the ride starts we will read the Ride of Silence poem, share a few words and minute of silence
7:15 pm – Ride begins with police escort to Paul Taylor’s ghost bike
The Ride of Silence is approximately 5 miles long within City of Decatur limits at a casual pace. The ride will end at Bike Law’s headquarters at 119 N McDonough St, Decatur GA 30030. Stay after the ride for food and beverages!! Let’s celebrate each other and the joy of riding bikes in ATL!

The RR and TT are June 6 in Calhoun and the crit is June 7 at the West Oak Business Park in Marietta, home of the MTNC. So, very familiar courses.

I’ve been a bit absent lately, but I’m back. I was dealing with a family issue and slammed at my corporate job. If you have not seen the calendars—they all are updated with the latest races and dates! CX dates won’t be available until summer. I can tell you that the North Carolina Grand Prix is the only UCI race in the Southeast for 2026.

Pretty simple- easy or hard, pick your poison.
